Artist Bio
Michel-Ange Ludovic Zamor is a Canadian-American Concert Pianist and Recording Artist. Since age 3 his father began to teach him music theory, tonal harmony and the piano, through strict discipline and sheer effort the ceiling on what can be taught to him by his father was met relatively quickly. And a hunt for a proper music teacher was set.
From age 7 he studied with Performance Major and Music Historian Karen Femia at the Frank & Camilles School of Music and performed his first recital at age 7. Before the age of 12 he scored all perfect scores in all levels of NYSSMA. When entering High School he was denied entry to his school’s, “Modern Music Master” group because of their age limitation. Within that same year, independently as a soloist he won the First Place Prize in New York’s interscholastic Music Performance in the German composer’s category, playing all movements of Beethoven’s Pathetique Sonata at only the age of 13. From there he honed his performing skills and finding his passion and specialty in the Romantic Era.
At the age of 18, he appeared at Carnegie Hall. Debuted at the Weill Recital Hall and became world renowned as a thoroughbred virtuoso and powerhouse. Now known as a VIP guest, Ludovic is regularly invited to Steinway Events and Steinway Hall for grand unveilings including of the Steinway Spirio and multi-million dollar art case pianos.
Ludovic has done public masterclasses with Concert Pianist and Professional Adjudicator Joe Graziose, on interpretations of Bach Preludes and Fugues, on Liszt Ètudes d’exécution transcendante d’aprés Paganini, on Liszt Concert Etudes, and performance technique.
First hearing Ludovic perform at only 8 years old, world renowned Maestro, Composer and retired Concert Pianist Avaraham Sternklar knew then, in a few years, when all is left is the aweinspiring task, the action of dominating the world, he’d accept him as a pupil.
