Artist Bio
Aryana Sayeed is Afghanistan’s biggest Superstar and the most influential artist of the country’s current generation. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, Aryana left her country of birth as a child, relocating to Pakistan initially and after migrating to Switzerland, she eventually settled in London, England along with her family.
Over the years, Aryana has served as a Judge on TheVoice Afghanistan, Afghan Star, Afghan Superstar and as an International Judge on The World’s Best on CBS along with Drew Barrymore, RuPaul and Faith Hill as the US Judges.
Most recently Aryana was awarded the prestigious International Freedom Award from the Atlantic Council along with Co-Winner Former US Secretary of State Doctor Madeleine Albright. During her Artistic and Activist careers, Aryana has won the awards for Best New Female Artist of Afghanistan, Best Female Artist of Afghanistan, Afghan Icon Award, Best Song of the Year, Best Video of the Year, Bravery Award, Most Influential Woman of Afghanistan Award, Goodwill Ambassador for Peace, Music and Women Empowerment and much more.
Over the past 10+ years, Aryana has performed almost 300 concerts worldwide including various live performances inside Afghanistan. Aryana along with her Fiancé were recently stuck in Kabul, Afghanistan after the sudden and unexpected takeover of Taliban and dramatically managed to make it out alive on one of the C17 US Army planes. She currently resides in Istanbul, Turkey along with her Fiancé and Manager Hasib Sayed and continues to be the voice of the voiceless through her music, celebrity image and influence over the international community.
