Artist Bio
Illusion - A Tribute to Women Who Rock is a six piece band featuring Mary McDermott and Joanne Amante performing the songs of your favorite rockers from the 60s through today. Why see one tribute when you can hear the hits from Grace Slick, Janis, Stevie Nicks, Pretenders, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Linda Ronstadt, Blonde, GoGo’s and much more!
Opening up the night is Emilie Marie, a singer, songwriter and musician from New York. She plays piano, guitar (self taught), alto saxophone, and was a NY All State clarinet finalist. Emilie grew up listening to classic rock including The Police, Queen and The Beatles, and her current influences include artists like Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, and Daniel Caesar. Her passion for music led her to start singing, writing and performing songs in high school. Emilie has gained the attention of various clubs in and around NYC to perform. Recently she was selected to sing on an LG commercial, and was sought out by The Voice as a special audition candidate. Emilie is currently writing and recording her debut album due to release early 2019.
