On March 10th 2017, one of Long Island’s best music and performance venues, The Space at Westbury Theater, will be alive with the sounds of Long Island’s best musicians, Liberty DeVitto, Richie Cannata, and Russell Javors, whom Billy Joel hand selected to help create his classic hits and unforgettable tours, reunite on stage once again as The Lords of 52nd Street! Get ready to hear an eclectic mix of tunes from the Piano Man’s music catalog including hits and rarities with the same energy and passion as you’ve always known because, well, they’ve played them countless times on countless stages the world over! The Lords of 52nd Street is New York’s favorite band comprised of Liberty DeVitto on drums, Richie Cannata on saxophone, and Russell Javors on rhythm guitar. The band recorded, toured and performed extensively with Billy Joel during his prominence in the 1970s and 1980s. The Lords aided in the creation of hit records with Billy Joel including, The Stranger, 52nd Street, and Glass Houses. In the past as Billy Joel’s touring band, The Lords of 52nd Street sold out countless shows, and performed in some of the world’s most famous arenas including, Madison Square Garden, Nassau Coliseum, Carnegie Hall, Wembley Stadium, and many other famous venues around the globe. The band is reuniting again, and their performance is an experience that no one can miss. If you wish to hear the true New York Sound, then look no further, The Lords of 52nd Street are here! Having reunited following their induction into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in 2014 as the “Lords” (A moniker coined by late producer Phil Ramone), the band has played a number of shows along with special guests including David Clark from "Songs In The Attic", and Mike Delguidice from “Big Shot”.

Lennon and Katie are a very talented acoustic guitar/piano duo from Long Island, NY. They perform for venues, cocktail/happy hours, restaurants, music festivals, benefit shows, fundraisers, libraries, and private parties and events throughout the tri-state area. With a vast library of songs from the 40’s to the present, The Beatles to Rush, their shows can cater to any event or occasion. They also enjoy performing original music, and have been featured at The Bitter End, The Space in Westbury, The Hillside Recital Hall at LIU Post, The Montauk Music Festival and The Fest For Beatles Fans, to name just a few.
Lennon is a prolific and accomplished songwriter, lyricist, and multi instrumentalist. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The NYCB Theater at Westbury, and The Paramount, to name a few. Katie is a powerful singer who Newsday named one of "Long Island’s Rising Stars." She has been featured in special segments for Verizon/Fios and has also performed at Duck Stadium, Chelsea Mansion, Brookhaven Amphitheatre, and more. Their band has also performed for large audiences at the NYCB Theater in Westbury, The Space, The Paramount, Mulcahy’s Concert Hall, 89 North, and The Emporium. They were invited and open for iconic artists and band’s such as Randy Jackson, Zebra, Mike DelGuidice and Big Shot who included members of Billy Joel’s band. Their self-titled EP, available on iTunes, was produced by iconic Grammy winning music producer, Jack Douglas.
Together, Lennon and Katie create a perfect combination of music and harmonies that are beautiful, captivating and timeless.
