Artist Bio
It Came From Space are a four piece instrumental post/math rock band from Oceanside, New York, with a mix of influences from punk to jazz combined with a Sci-Fi sensibility. Their Influences are Toe, Lite, Jazz, and Punk rock.
Fox Hollow are an American Indie-Rock band formed in 2016 in New York. They are influenced by The Beatles, David Bowie, Dear and the Headlights, Arctic Monkeys, As Tall As Lions, Pulp, Leonard Cohen, The Last Shadow Puppets, The Strokes, Modest Mouse, Talking Heads, The Smiths, The Libertines, and Wolf Alice.
Brian Kish makes music that yearns to be difficult to categorize, and indeed, makes bio descriptions outright obsolete, so you should probably stop reading this. It’s free-improv, avant-post-wave-core-fi-gaze. It sort of changes from month to month, as one defining sound isn’t really good enough. Today it’s guitar, tomorrow it’s electronic, next time it’s deconstruction of existing sources. It’s the result of the crushing realities of everything from impending global doom to the everyday monotonous surroundings of a Long-Islander in their mid-20s. Expect the unexpected when attending a show, because usually Brian doesn’t know where it’s going either. Brian has played drums, guitar and bass in several bands for about 10 years and currently plays with Tha Elephant Walk and Family Lumber.
