Artist Bio
Steve Urban is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter & vocalist who delivers a flawless combination of rock, country, folk, blues and funk; a signature genre of art rock he calls “Paint Rock.” In 2015, he hit the ground running, proving to be a major force in the Jamband scene with mind blowin’ performances in CT, PA & NJ. In December 2013, his original song “The Wetlands” won the Grand Prize in Relix Music Magazine’s JamOFF Competition. Then in 2014, Urban jammed and recorded with notable rock & country musicians such as Jason Crosby (Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Robert Randolph) on piano, organ & fiddle, Jon Graboff (Willie Nelson, Ryan Adams & The Cardinals, Phil Lesh, David Byrne) on pedal steel guitar, and guitarist Scott Metzger (JRAD).
